After spending a couple of months in Europe, I decided it was time to head back to the U.S. As a minimalist with no cold weather clothes, Florida is an ideal spot to spend the winter. (Also, I love Tampa!) I found a last-minute deal for a 15-day one-way transatlantic/ repositioning cruise from the UK to Florida via Celebrity Cruises. I enjoy cruises, especially compared to flying, so I happily booked it.

The cruise started on October 24, and I’ll be landing in Fort Lauderdale on November 8. We just stopped in New York City and Boston, and now we’re on our way to Bermuda. It’s been a wonderful experience so far, but I am definitely ready for the warmer weather and beaches!

I am enjoying the friendly service and hospitality, the food, the casino, and the variety of fun shows and activities.

The Internet connection is a bit slow and spotty, so blogging has been challenging. I am capturing pictures, videos, and stories to share with you later. In the meantime, you can follow my journey everyday on my Libby Rome Author Facebook page.
