I would like to introduce you to Whitehawk. Technically, she is my mother-in-law, but she’s so much more. She is a talented artist, a caring soul, and a wonderful friend. I feel so fortunate to know her!

I first met Whitehawk when she visited us in Houston in the year 2000. We only had a short few days to get to know each other a bit.
She then came to our wedding reception a few years later. She gave our daughter Sarah art lessons, and she presented us all with a lovely colored pencil soul portrait of Sarah.

A decade then went by where Dan, Sarah, and I lived abroad in Canada and Europe, and we did not see Whitehawk. When we returned to the U.S. in 2013, we reconnected more strongly than ever. I found that we had lots in common, and she became a mentor for me.
Because she had never been outside of the U.S., we took her to The Netherlands in 2016. What a wonderful trip and time as family!

Whitehawk is an amazing artist. I could stare at her art forever. (Check out some of her art work on Instagram.) We visit her in Tampa, Florida as often as possible these days. I feel fortunate to be able to spend time with her.

Most of all, Whitehawk is a wonderful human being. She’s wise, caring, and a great listener. She never judges. She is a calm, positive, interesting person, and I feel very relaxed and happy around her. I know she makes a lot of people feel this way. It’s just her way of being, and I love it.
We also share a lot of the same life perspective, and we share a love of many things, like her son and the beach! 🙂

I love being a part the Wonderful World of Whitehawk!
You captured just how I feel about you my wonderful daughter! I am honored that you wrote this about me and included so many great photos. I love you soooooo much and will be happy when we are together again!
My Love Always,
Mom Whitehawk
When i met her,my english was very poor, but, the Energy was there. Kathy would patietly translate every conversation. There was a piano in the house, and, she asked me to play it. Before i would get up,she said, “ i’ll give you a foot massage ( acupressure) before you play. I had never received one in my life. Well…,that was one of my most interesting experience in life. I was soooo relaxed that i had to be carried to the piano.By her and Kathy . I played like i had never played before. My hands would just fly. My body just wasn’t there. That was my introduction to the “ Wonderful World of Whitehawk“.My Eternal gratitude for the pleasure of meeting you !!!
Thank you so much
