Fun on Vancouver Island

My digital nomad lifestyle has enabled me to get around without a car for the past several years. That’s been great, but last weekend I decided to rent a car and take a road trip. I had forgotten how fun it can be to sing to my favorite songs as loud as I can while driving.

I drove from Seattle, crossed the border into Canada, then took a ferry to Vancouver Island. I attended a camp for adults with Type 1 Diabetes, organized by Connected in Motion. I had attended a previous camp on Catalina Island last year, and it made a huge impact on my life with T1D.

I had a wonderful time this year too, and I made a little video to remember my good time.
